Several SJSL Member Clubs operate programs for special needs children.  For more information on one or more of these programs, see below.

      Highland Soccer Stars - Highland Soccer Stars is a free soccer/exercise training program specifically designed for kids on the Asperger's/Autism Spectrum. The program runs from September through May.  For more information, go to HYSC or contact the Program Director Bob Cooper at

      US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer® (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with special needs, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a mental or physical disability. Their goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued active members of the US Youth Soccer family.
