SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

PROGRAM GUIDELINES
 

The South Jersey Soccer League sponsors a Sportsmanship Program for the coaches in the Under 8 though Under 14 age brackets. The purpose of the program is to recognize and reward a coach in each conference for exhibiting sportsmanship on and off the field.  The recipient of the award is to exhibit the following:

·        fairness

·        courtesy

·        a positive attitude

·        being a role model

·        abiding by the rules

Before the end of the season, coaches in each conference will receive an email asking them to vote for the coach/coaches in their conference.  Each coach will have 3 votes.  Coaches cannot vote for themselves.  A coach can give 1 vote to 3 different coaches, 1 vote to 1 coach and 2 votes to another coach or 3 votes to 1 coach.  Winners will be notified and will be presented with awards at the Spring Coach's Meeting.
